Our First Fundraiser Was A Massive Sucess

Our First Fundraiser Was A Massive Sucess
Saturday, January 27th, our community came together in support of saving our farmland and beautiful county.

As a result, we raised $4,302.79 to go toward the legal fees in our efforts to stop industrial solar farms from taking over our county.

Thank you to everyone that came out, had a wonderful meal and is supporting our efforts!!

Our fight is ramping up, and the legal fees are climbing.

We cannot do this without the help from our community.

We will be holding another fundraiser dinner in March (details to come later).

In the meantime, you can support us through the Give Send Go link

Words alone can not express the gratitude and pride I feel towards ALL of the volunteers and Concerned Citizens of Spencer County that showed up to support OUR and YOUR fight to protect this county.

The amount of money we raised greatly surpassed our expectations.

As thrilled as we were for the financial assistance, the physical and verbal support we received from so many Spencer County Residents on a dark, windy and rainy day, that live in Troy, Chrisney, Dale, Richland, Grandview, and other areas totally astonished me.

I love seeing so many individuals uniting and standing together to protect our county from the illegal and selfish overreach of certain board members as well as the threat to so much of our county farmland.

When elected officials fail to represent the local taxpaying citizens, the only recourse we have is to replace those corrupt officials. And yesterday was an overwhelming sign of unity from the voters.

So, thank you again, one and all and please continue YOUR fight. The unity you displayed yesterday, shows that we have the power to make the changes needed to preserve this county for our grandchildren and future generations.

I also want to thank everyone that picked up the Stop Soar Farms Years Signs, so they could display them in their yards.

In the very near future, I will be ordering yard signs JUST for the Concerned Citizens of Spencer County and will announce it in our Facebook Group as soon as they are available.
